Kotono Mitsuishi

Biography: Born December 8, 1967, Kotono Mitsuishi became one of the most famous and credited seiyuu(voice actors) in Japan. After graduating high school in 1986, Mitsuishi went on to the Katsuta Seiyû Academy. During her years at the academy, she took on many part time jobs, including an elevator girl and a female office worker.

Mitsuishi made her seiyuu debut in 1989 as Tomoyo in the OVA, Ace o Nerae! Final Stage. Her real fame didn't hit until she played the role of the main character on the hit anime Sailor Moon when it first debuted in 1992. Her character's name was Usagi Tsukino, also known as Sailor Moon. Her popularity grew with other roles in animation.

Mitsuishi is now married with one daughter and is employed by Arts Vision.
