Norio Wakamoto

Biography: Norio Wakamoto was born on October 18, 1945 in Shimonoseki (Yamaguchi Prefecture) and raised in Sakai (Osaka Prefecture).
He is one of the most famous and recognizable Japanese seiyus (voice actor), thanks to his deep voice, that granted him a role in numerous productions, from videogames to anime, and even in the Japanese release of American TV shows, such as Prison Break.
After graduating at Waseda University, Wakamoto exploited his skills in martial arts (kempo and kendo) to work in the Anti-Riot Squad division of Tokyo's Metropolitan Police Department.
Then, he started his career has a seiyu for Sigma Seven, a Japanese company that operates in the dubbing sector.
