This was a mesmerising, horrifying piece of social history that should be shown in schools.
Amponsah revives [British activists'] reputations and honours their legacies with an editing device that takes us into the darkrooms of the black photographers Neil Kenlock and Charlie Phillips.
A sober look at race relations through the eyes of people who were involved in the Black Power movement, drawing on a rich archive of footage..
