Description: Celebrity Duets was produced by Simon Cowell, who is best-known for his role in American Idol. Similar to Dancing with Celebrities, Celebrity Duets took established singing stars and paired them with with celebrities who were normally outside the music industry. On Thursday nights, the show followed the professional singers as they instructed their celebrity partners, chose songs and performed duets in front of a panel of judges and a live studio audience. Viewers voted on their favorites, and the results were revealed on a live Friday night episode. Contestants competed for charity.
