Woke factor: 9. I can remember only 3 relatively minor scenes where woke ideology is discussed so not a big a deal.
Overall: 8.7 This show will definitely take you on a binge-worthy trip. Story: 10. The story is definitely its strong-suit for the way it constantly keeps you intrigued and thinking. You have no idea what's going to happen for most of the show. Actors: 9. Julia from Mission Impossible is the star and the other characters are great.

Stretched over seven episodes, with a number of distracting subplots, Echoes over-complicates its initially intriguing premise.
For a few hours, Echoes achieves that much. You can get caught up in it until you aren’t anymore. The lack of confidence in the audience’s intelligence was finally too much for me and despite Monaghan’s worthy double-act and Robinson’s Columbo-esque ingeniousness, Echoes never recovered from revealing how its trick was achieved — long before it had actually been fully achieved
“Echoes” has a fundamental pacing problem. Its front half crams in questions, potential developments, identity games and shock reveals. These elements make promises. Then the next episode does more of the same. There’s not enough depth here to make up for the deliberate and repetitive march forward.
The main problem with “Echoes” is the most common TV problem of the current era—it doesn’t have the story to support a series.
Echoes is without question one of the most messy and confusing shows we’ve seen in awhile, and there really seems to be nothing for a viewer to grab onto that would tempt them to move to the second episode after the first is over.
Echoes had a good mysterious beginning which had me wanting answers. Middle kind of only gave semi satisfying answers. Ending was unsatisfying because they were trying too hard to set up the sequel and hence left a lot of unanswered questions or ambiguous answers. Was interesting but could have been a lot better if the answers were more concrete and you kind of go, "oh, yeah i get it now! That makes great sense!", instead, I was more like, "really? that's why they did that?"

This limited series piles on quite a few things in such a stupid way, in a blatant attempt to expand it premise, that it brings about its own downfall by refusing to get a resolution simply because it clearly believes its mystery is so clever and therefore had to be so long.
I can give Michelle Monaghan some credit because she buys into the role and tries to sell it, but the material is that kind of plot that believes twist after twist in its storyline equals a complex script. And no, it doesn't.
