Description: This groundbreaking science fiction series ran for two short seasons on ABC in the late 1980s. Matt Frewer stars as investigative TV reporter Edison Carter and as his unpredictable computer-generated alter-ego Max Headroom, a character who also appeared during the same time period in commercials for Coca-Cola and as the host of his own talk show (which aired in the US on Cinemax, though it, like ABC's sci-fi drama series, were produced in the UK). Jeffrey Tambor and Amanda Pays also star. The DVD set (belatedly released in 2010) includes a final episode that never aired in the US.
