Motherland: Fort Salem’s Season 3 premiere is definitely one to watch, especially for any and all die-hard fans of the show, as it allows the audience to view favorite characters with fresh eyes by showing sides we had yet to see from the core Unit.
If the first season can clear up some of the confusion and expand the world beyond the recruits, we expect things to get very interesting.

Fantastic new switches show that will make you want to be a part of the team it’s amazing ️

This show is one of the few that tries to be inclusive but do not force it. We see other shows that try to force inclusiveness down our throats. In this show you are rooting for every one from the beginning, doesn't matter that they are woman/man, straight or ****. The setup is a unique idea that proofs to be interesting all the way.
Some revelations can be anticipated but all in all this show is one of the best that I have seen in the last few years. And best of it is that the main characters are all women who know what they are doing.
Can't wait to see more of this universe.

Narrative bagginess swallows all the story’s oxygen and blows it out as stale air: It squanders precious opportunities to develop compelling antagonists—and that lack of complexity is even more unfortunate given that the three leads are so charismatic and well-cast.
The types are all pretty obvious and plot turns are telegraphed well in advance, yet the show fails to clearly explain what is going on in this alternate America. The witchiness of the young women is even underplayed to a frustrating degree until late in the premiere episode.
Those more pertinent narratives are nearly crushed inside the margins by shoehorned subplots such as a mishandled suicide storyline, necromancy, and pretty much anything regarding the elder witches in their command station.
“Motherland” combines too many ideas in order to make one wildly confusing show that, despite its insistence otherwise, struggles to understand what “empowerment” actually means.
After six episodes (that’s how many Freeform made available to critics), the tone is still uneven and some of the reveals are hard to follow. Dialogue is occasionally clunky, frequently bordering on ridiculous.

Descrubí este show por casualidad y definitivamente me sorprendió. La temática que presenta pese a ser presentada en otras series, en Motherland Fort Salem es explorada de una manera diferente y muy entretenida. La serie cuenta con personajes muy interesantes representados estupendamente por el excelente cast. A medida que avanza la serie cada episodio se vuelve más intrigante, lo que hace que te enganches con la serie

Where to start why are witches crawling through barbed wire and climbing ropes? Shouldn't witches of war being doing more witch like things with spells and summoning of demonic beings? I give the show praise for making the incompetent leader of a America a black woman which challenges the Woke Hollywood norm. The show did its best to try but with names like Spree of rainbow candy and cheap CGI bodies a lot of this comes off as a chore to watch. The effort was made in writing that is true but the execution failed. The show almost pulled a so bad its good so far but it comes off as if the cast is trying to be GI Jane with Magic when it needs to be its own thing and not copy Full Metal Jacket for military scenes. The writers did a lot of work but the production is holding it all back. The director is making it come across as twilight's take on witches and the military.

The show has so many flaws that even the good writing can't save it. There is no feeling for Time in the show, people just show up when they need to, no explanaition how they got there so fast. The visuals are horrible they needed to CGI a car driving in the snow and it looked **** no there was no need for the snow as is dissapears after the scene is over. Also they make it seem like the character are in the military and have drill sargents but they get away with being sassy or outright running away from training. I do not know why they choose the military theme and numbed it down with rainbow glittery stuff all the way.
