If there is an episode that makes you fall in love with Person of Interest, it is 4x22 "YHWH". Those last minutes with Pink Floyd's "Welcome to The Machine" OHH MYY GOOOODD!! JUST WOWWW!
This is the greatest long con of any show on television. Had the creators tried to sell this plot line from the beginning, CBS would have never funded its creation. Instead, Nolan sold them what they already knew, a procedural crime drama----with a twist. CBS's audience doesn't typically love good TV (NCIS fans I'm talking to you----I mean no **** I mean no one.... would join the Navy or Marines if the murder rate inside the service was that high). Season four of POI finally abandons all the pretense. Gone is the Procedural crime drama and all that remains is the twist---and the best Science Fiction show on TV.
An awesome start to the season in which we all believe will be better than the amazing season 3. This season POI will go even more serialized; which is better for the series. Each case of the week episode has the main story in it. Can't wait for the rest of the season.
