This is a very good series with an excellent performance from Richard Armitage (The Hobbit) and with great support from Andrew Lincoln (Walking Dead) and just about every other actor in this show. It's not the same as the Cinemax series but it's definitely its own man and, IMO, better. Thoughtful, intelligent and gripping more like an exciting drama than a mindless shoot 'em up.
its unapologetic, balls out and just fun love it. both leads work well together .the locales are great and the supporting cast fit perfectly. this show can't help but be great .the writing is smooth and is seamless. just wish they promoted the show in North America more definitely can get lost in and episode
Origins is no worse than average among the class of shows--“24,” “The Unit,” “MI5”--that mix high-tech intelligence gathering with bloody commando action.
First season was totally British. I loved that.
I stopped watching at season 2: too much blood, pornography and unexplainable act of characters. Couldn't enjoy anymore.
this is a man's wet dream of violence and awesomeness! its an adrenaline rush every episode. the dichotomy of Scott and Stonebridge is fantastic. they compliment each other is incredible.
Strike back when looked at on its own merits is a fun action thriller. It is well acted the main characters are likable and is a lot of fun. Not every show needs to have the depth like game of thrones some times its ok to just enjoy the action and the close to real life tactical maneuvering of to bad asses.
I've watched sky's version and i gotta say: this show lost its intelligence and acting got worse. And too much SEX. However, strike back continues to provide good action scenes.
Sex, guns, explosions, spy's and more sex. This might not be the best thing on TV or even be better than the real first season of strike back but it is entertaining in a Hollywood hijack kind of way, but be warned if you loved the first series and dont want anything to change then your in for quite a shock.
