Such an amazing show all seasons were great worth watching if you haven't watched it already, a breath of fresh air wish I found it sooner to watch the story and acting awesome I don't know why it was cancelled you could get at least 3 more seasons so much potential , do not understand why good shows get cancelled and reality trash gets kept on. There isn't much descent stuff on Netflix to this level and it gets cancelled stupid business sense.
Wonderful! This may the best season yet. I just wish more people were watching the show. I'm a **** for time travel stories so "Travelers" fits the bill. With just 10 episodes, it's a fast binge. The tech is fun. The show has compelling and heartbreaking story lines. Make sure you stay for the ending. I'm really rooting for our gang of travelers to make it (and to eventually save the world). Let's hope we get a season 4 to find out.
This show is great. Pretty original and relevant. Season 3 was great, the end was soooooo good. Rarely does a show have such a satisfying season finale that wraps everything up so well but still leaves enough open endedness for a new season if they decide to make one.
Season 3 was a significant improvement over season 2, which seemed to spend most of the time spinning its wheels. The back half of season 3 was particularly good as it built towards a shocking, but excellent, finale.
Definitely more hand-waving going on this season around some scientific and logic issues, but it's a time travel show about time travel so... ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Still a good show but doesn't quite reach the quality of the previous two seasons.
Much of this season has the feel of filler episodes with meandering but self contained story-lines, in addition the ending feels incredibly rushed. An equally disappointing trait of this season was that whole plot lines lead to no where or where dropped entirely mid story.
The overall story arc was good but the whole season feels like it needs a re-edit to get the pacing right. Its worth watching if you enjoy the series but it sort of falls flat overall.
Netflix ripped out the heart and soul of this show and left a big giant turd in its place. Much of the 3rd season is spent trying to escape the consequences of the 2nd season ending. Instead of moving forward and showing the characters cope, perhaps learn and grow, the story moves sideways. Much of it is superfluous. The most obvious what-if questions I asked myself over the previous 2 seasons, are made moot.
To be fair there was something languorous about the first 2 seasons. Dividends for watching the show weren't paid until the 2nd half of season 2. But at that point things picked up and the slow waltz turned into a compelling climax. I wanted to see more of this show! Updates, Ingram, The Faction, but most compelling, the big reveal.
The season 2 finale understood, or perhaps stated, that the heart and soul of the show was not the travelers themselves, but the people around them. Ironically, Grant even distills this in a season 3 episode: The small moments of Kat's day were real life, not the his crazy frantic 'save the day' adventures. While true that the former could not exist without the latter, the latter was empty without the former. Season 3 as a whole doesn't understand this at all and becomes an empty plodding machine hitting its plot points, to the very end when finally everything we see is made meaningless.
Season 4, if there is one, could run with a completely new cast. And one can't help but wonder if that is deliberate. A new cast would be cheaper for season 4. Story wise you wouldn't care. I know I don't. Netflix brutally erased any reason to.
