McMillions MINISERIES Trailer Documentary HBO 10p
This bizarre true-crime tale recounts the attempts of an ex-cop to build a nationwide conspiracy with the goal of rigging the Monopoly contest at McDonalds. Briarpatch NEW Trailer Drama USA, 10p
Created by critic/writer/podcaster Andy Greenwald and produced by Mr. Robot's Sam Esmail, Briarpatch is an anthology series that will follow a different story each season with something akin to Fargo's darkly comedic, quirky, neo-noir tone. Season 1 adapts the 1984 Ross Thomas novel of the same name and stars Rosario Dawson as a political fixer who returns to her small Texas hometown to investigate her sister's suspicious death. Jay R. Ferguson (in a scene-stealing performance), Kim Dickens, Alan Cumming, Chris Mulkey, and Ed Asner also star. Critics saw the first two episodes at TIFF last fall and offered somewhat tentative enthusiasm for the series.

Interrogation NEW Trailer Drama CBS All Access
Based on a true crime story about a man convicted of murdering his mother but who has spent two decades proclaiming his innocence, this CBS All Access original series will have all episodes available to stream at once, and is designed to be viewed in any order (aside from the first and last episodes) so that you can follow the evidence—structured mainly as a series of interrogations—as you wish. Peter Sarsgaard, Kyle Gallner, and David Strathairn head the cast.
Katy Keene NEW Trailer Drama CW 8p
The CW's final newcomer this season is a Greg Berlanti-produced spinoff from Riverdale focusing on four twentysomethings pursing fame in New York City. Pretty Little Liars' Lucy Hale stars as the title character, an aspiring fashion designer who befriends Riverdale character and would-be singer-songwriter Josie McCoy (Ashleigh Murray, who is leaving Riverdale as a result). Jonny Beauchamp and Julia Chan play the other two young artists in their orbit. Expect Katy Keene to have a much lighter tone than its sister show—and, since Keene takes place about five years after Riverdale, don't expect any crossovers between the two shows (though producers aren't ruling out showing glimpses of one or more Riverdale characters as they would appear five years later).
Marriage Boot Camp: Hip Hop Edition Reality WE, 10p

After numerous failed attempts (by Hulu and Fox, among others) to bring Joe Hill's graphic novel series to the small screen over the past decade, Locke & Key finally found a home at Netflix. This 10-episode first season retains the writer/producer of the previous failed pilot (Lost vet Carlton Cuse, joined by Meredith Averill) but features a new cast led by Jackson Robert Scott, Connor Jessup, Emilia Jones, Darby Stanchfield, and Bill Heck. The story features a mother of three children, a murdered husband, and a set of keys that provide supernatural powers—and bring with them great danger.

Devs MINISERIES Trailer Drama/Sci-fi Hulu
If an FX series isn't on FX, is it still an FX series? In an attempt to make the streaming wars as confusing as possible, Disney has decided that some FX titles will now be available exclusively on Hulu and never air on FX. (But they are not Hulu shows—let's get that straight.) Up first among these "FX on Hulu" exclusives is this mysterious tech thriller from Ex Machina writer-director Alex Garland. Nick Offerman, Sonoya Mizuno, Zach Grenier, Jin Ha, and Alison Pill star in a story about a software engineer who suspects that her tech company employer may be responsible for the death of her boyfriend. Garland wrote and directed all eight episodes. Two of them stream today, with the remaining six arriving one per week.

Amazing Stories NEW Drama/Anthology/Sci-fi Apple TV+
One of the very first projects announced for Apple's streaming service was this reboot of the Twilight Zone-influenced 1985 Steven Spielberg anthology series that was first developed for NBC (home of the original). The new version comes from producers and Once Upon a Time veterans Eddy Kitsis and Adam Horowitz (replacing Bryan Fuller, the original showrunner who left due to creative differences—i.e., and unwillingness to bend to Apple's preferences for family-friendly fare) and will include stand-alone episodes directed by Mark Mylod, Michael Dinner, and more. Stars include Josh Holloway, Dylan O'Brien, Sasha Alexander, Kerry Bishé, Edward Burns, and Robert Forster (in his final performance). Five episodes debut today, with five more to come at a later date.

The long-awaited fourth season of Noah Hawley's Coens-influenced anthology finally arrives today, three years to the day after the season 3 premiere. What hasn't changed is that the cast is terrific. Chris Rock gets top billing in a season that also includes Jason Schwartzman, Ben Whishaw, Uzo Aduba, Timothy Olyphant, Jack Huston, Jessie Buckley, Glynn Turman (playing a character named "Doctor Senator," which can't possibly be bad), Amber Midthunder, and musician Andrew Bird. Snowpiercer NEW Trailer Drama/Sci-fi TNT, 9p
First, it was graphic novel. Then, a well-reviewed 2013 film from future Parasite director Bong Joon-ho. Then it was set to become a TNT series. Then it was a TBS series. Then it was a TNT series again. Along the way, the original showrunner (Josh Friedman) and director (Scott Derrickson) left the show due to creative differences after filming a pilot (itself the result of a two-year development process). From the wreckage several years later comes a very different adaptation from Orphan Black creator Graeme Manson. Like the film, the series is set in a frigid, post-apocalyptic future aboard a perpetually moving train (containing 1,001 cars that house Earth's remaining human population) where class differences play out in various ways. Daveed Diggs and Jennifer Connelly head the cast, and the show has already been renewed for a second season, which will add Sean Bean in a major role.
