Overall, Siesta Fiesta is a breath of fresh air as a unique Breakout-styled game that fans of the genre will not want to miss.
  2. A new spin on an old idea, with enough creativity and charm to keep Breakout fans amused. Peddlers of cynical arcade clones: hang your heads in shame.

I'll stop just short of saying "Siesta Fiesta" is a must-own for any Nintendo 3DS user, if only because there are "gamers" for whom this type of game (best suited to be picked up and played in short bursts rather than extensive sit-downs) will probably never deliver a satisfactory time.

Siesta Fiesta does not offer an online game mode or two-player option. It is a purely aligned experience in individual challenge that makes us smile in no time.

A challenging and beautifully designed mix between a Break Out/Arkanoid clone and a flipper game.

While the omission of leaderboards and StreetPass functionality does make Siesta Fiesta a lonely experience, it’s still a fun, challenging game that deftly blends a variety of retro genres.

The game's insistence on mixing things up makes it joyful throughout. Siesta Fiesta may not keep you coming back when it's over, but it's a lot of fun while it lasts.
