    Controls are great! The platforming is very good for the Playstation 2 and the Gamecube. The graphics are actually really good! The sound effects aren't annoying. Yes they aren't and it's spongebob! There is so much gameplay. If you have this game you are very lucky. This game is 100% worth and one of my favorite games of all time. Play it now!

    Battle for Bikini Bottom is a simple platformer but does very well. The controls and graphics are great. The variety is in there. Almost everything good in a platformer is in this game.

    The ultimate Platformer for Speedrunners... It's a fantastic game either way, casual...

    or hardcore. :)

    1. There is to much collectables in the levels

    The new remake BFBB Rehydrated is bringing this great game back to life and I am hoping for the best. Pax East was fantastic! The press demo really impressed me despite being an old build. Played this on gamecube as a young one and I could be biased because I am huge spongebob fan. Judging without nostalgia I can say that this is definitely worth your MONEY MONEY MONEY!

    Even if the gameplay is derived from the Jak and Daxter series and the graphics are often overwhelmingly hideous, the team behind Battle For Bikini Bottom have crafted a surprisingly fun platformer with enjoyable gameplay and funny characters.

    Surprisingly fun, with good humour and addicting gameplay. The graphics are mediocre most of the time, but that doesn't really detract much from the game itself.

    A real gem of a licensed game. All of the humor and charm that made the show great were successfully translated into the game which is a great platformer in its own right.

    Would you believe me that a game like this is actually really fun? In fact, it's one of the best platformers of the last generation. The levels are all interesting, the mechanics are spot on, and the humor is well written. Really, you can't go wrong with this game, which is surprising. I thought it was going to suck. Boy was I wrong.

    This is easily one of my favorite games of all time. There are so levels and areas to explore such as the Flying Dutchman's graveyard and Kelp Forest. This is a very hilarious game and it is a classic.

    Hold it right there! Don't turn your back on this game just because it's a Spongebob game, for this is actually (at least IMO) a quality platformer, even for a game based off a TV show! This film feels a lot like what a Spongebob game should be, for it was very close to it's source material and it had a lot of references to episodes of the show. The gameplay is fun, the locations are funHold it right there! I don't think I'll find a GameCube (besides windwaker and veiwtiful joe) with cel-shading art style level design as good as the jelly fish fields level. Unfortunately that's where the pretty levels and fun gameplayTruly an awesome game and in my opinion the best video game based on spongebob.     This game is a great example of why you can't trust many big highly regarded reviewers. They give it a average rating just because it's Spongebob. I was on the SpongeBob hate bandwagon years ago too before I played this incredible game. I even gave the show a chance because this game impressed me so much and it's the only still running child intended cartoon I love! there's a reason whyThis game is a great example of why you can't trust many big highly regarded reviewers. It's platforming is even better than Mario Galaxy's but it has such a lower rating just because it's not Mario! It's open world not linear like Mario galaxy more like Mario Sunshine's open world but bigger but still has the great platforming of galaxy's. It's a very forgiving game but that's not to say it's too easy! It's just perfect! Sometimes hard in a good way. Unfortunately though no other Spongebob game is anywhere near as good as this or has as open of a world all the others are more linear. Revenge Of The Flying Dutchman and The SpongeBob Squarepants Movie Games are the only other decent ones they don't come even close to how great this game is. The music is also some of the best I've ever heard may sound unbelievable but its better than any 3Ds Mario games exciting to very chill almost perfect all around. You can also fast travel anywhere in the massive game at any time and it loads very quickly. I could go on but just play it! I promise you'll be shocked in amazement by the end of the 1st level.… Expand

    It's the SpongeBob SquarePants equivalent to big-time favorable games like Super Mario 64 and Banjo-Kazooie and feels like you're watching a combined total of five episodes of SpongeBob SquarePants from its pre-movie era. Give this game a chance and you'll love it right away.

    This is the best SpongeBob game and makes you really feel like you are in the world of SpongeBob it’s a very good game even today.
