If you remember the originals (fondly of course), you will definitely want to pick this up. If this is your first time packing a six-shooter in the Wild West, you might want to consider a rental first.
The shooting reticule isn’t responsive enough for quick-draw events and oftentimes the video clips jump enough that you’ll miss your shot. On the plus side, the undertakers in this game are a hoot.
For starters, I would give this game an 11/10 if possible. My praise for Mad Dog is infinite, I am only limited by the maximum amount of characters. The humor is spot-on, not too serious but not too silly. Every location visited feels new and exotic, comparable to that of Nintendo's Breath of the Wild. The gunplay is great, and I've never more power over life and death than when I pulled my grandmother's life support. It's a great pick up and play game, that will have **** you in no time. If the United States government allowed it, I would've married this game already. You'll feel like a bounty hunter in no time. The gun sounds coming out the Wii remote just add to the level of immersion and realism in the game, I would say even better than most top-selling VR games to date. With gameplay and story to rival Ocarina of Time. The acting cast obviously was passionate about the project, it's a wonder they're not celebrities today. Never before has such a perfect piece of media and entertainment graced this Earth. If you haven't played it before I highly recommend. However, proceed with caution. Afterward, every day may seem like one big let down.
Yup, this is a rehash of the Mad Dog Titles on the Wii. I can understand, that a lot of players may get sick of these games. I've never played these games before getting this compilation. The controls work well, the game is a decent challenge. The cheesy acting adds to the charm, the game doesn't take itself seriously and I do like that.
There’s something enjoyable about playing something as awful as Mad Dog McCree. These rigid lightgun games are satisfyingly terrible. But make no mistake: they are bad. Oh, they are bad indeed. But priced right at $20 for all three bad, bad games.
Mad Dog McCree is not a very good game at all. The stories of the three games are poorly thought out, the gameplay is frustrating, the graphics look ancient and the lifespan is poor to say the least.
Mad Dog McCree was a great arcade game, this however is a terrible port. It really doesn't translate well on the Wii at all. From the delay in the shooting, from the horrible aiming, from gun sounds coming from the Wii remote rather than in-game, from the fact that the game hasn't aged well, there is a lot wrong with this game. I sort of figured this wouldn't be good but I never expected it to be this bad. Has to be one of the worst games released on the Wii.
The game is over the top, crap. The acting is absolutely the worst I've seen in a video game, the controls are unresponsive, and it's boring as all hell. Do not get this game.
SummaryThe live action, six-shooting, Wild West adventures of Mad Dog McCree are blazing their way to your Wii. Take on the role of the Bounty Hunter in this collection of all three classic arcade shooters: Mad Dog McCree, Mad Dog 2: The Lost Gold, and The Last Bounty Hunter. Bring your own brand of justice to the ruthless evil plaguing the Wil...
