The light colors it chose would mislead anybody into letting their guard down and immerse themselves into the world of Anna, only to find themselves thrust into a nightmare after they open the door to her house.
   I myself have not yet completed the game, I'm so close but it is a challenge, I'll give it that. However I'm far enough in to give my fair share. I realize most of the negative and mixed reviews come from PC and Mac users, and all I can say is that this game had not been made for either of those platforms. I have it for the PS3 and it works wonderfully for me. Even with the nightmarish realm you enter, the developers have added small bits of beauty, keeping you awe struck throughout your adventure. The game has beautiful twists with this eerie atmosphere, and the cut scenes being time based keep you on your feet.
   It is sadly a quite underrated game, one that I would suggest you should play for yourself on a platform it would work best with.… Expand

   Excellent point and click Horror game.
   The atmosphere in this game is powerful and has different variations in color and shadows.

   Graphics are beautiful and you get really immersed in Anna´s world.
   The narrative sets many secrets that you have to figure out with analytical methods, in order to tie the loose ends.
   Very scary in places with the supernatural moments and the intense gloom of the house.
   A lot of content (8 different endings) and some secret achievements.
   Overall, buy it if you like Point and Click Horror adventures with a clear focus in slow burning fear and not annoying jump scares.… Expand

По сюжету вы прибываете в древней лесопилке в поисках информации о некой Анне, и с помощью разных книг, ритуалов нам открывается правда. Хоррор-элементы не стандартные, скримеров практически нет, но и без них игра жуткая. На контрасте со спокойной и приятной музыкой пугающие моменты становятся ещё впечатляющей. Сразу предупреждаю, это квест со сложностью загадок уровня старых головоломок из 90х, так что если вы не привыкли затыкаться из-за того, что не знаете, что куда присобачить, чтобы сюжет пошёл дальше, то это может оттолкнуть. Кривое управление и сложность квестов пожалуй являются главными недостатками игры. А так советую любителям хороших хорроров, загадочных историй и сложных квестов. Игруля атмосферная.… Expand

Things never really come together and the puzzles are sloppy and poorly constructed, leading to wandering and frustration which sucks the horror out of what could have been deeply unsettling. I liked the atmosphere and uniquely creepy happenings, but eventually hit a point where I didn`t care about solving things myself anymore and just wanted to see the ending. It might scratch your itch if you`re running out of horror games to play, but it could have been much, much better. I can recommend this loosely for scaring me a few times, but overall can`t suggest it for anyone but the most hardcore horror lovers.… Expand

   I wanted to like Anna, and to a degree I do, but I feel that it tried too hard to be something big.

   While I did enjoy some of the puzzles, the story, and the atmosphere, the controls and gameplay were creative, but distracting in some areas. Did the game scare me? Sorta. Spooked here and there and having the wood lady suddenly appear next to me did make me jump (not to mention having a few nightmares about her following me). There are some scenes in the game that I feel are just so forced. It tries too hard to be scary to a point it's almost laughable and the gimmicks get old. Some points are just plain annoying. Any fear I had just turned is to annoyance and anxiety of having to waddle through several rooms because I missed something and I have to avoid damage.
   
   It had potential and it hit some decent marks, but overall it was an experience I could live without.… Expand

   The story is very nice and the puzzles is very difficult and smart but with all of this bugs you cannot play the game… Expand

   Pure **** spyware. Requires installation of some "indie" spyware. As a game, well it doesn't deserve that name.
