The third part of the repair sim series moves the limits in the right direction once again. It is nicer, more comprehensive and a bit realistic. Basically, it offers much more than its predecessor and innovates its features in the right places. It´s a pity game has a catastrophic start and overpriced packages with licensed cars again. Must-have for fans, for others the opportunity to get something completely new with a little different approach to cars.
As a fan of CMS I'm loving new graphics! AAA style. Also game was bugged first but its slowly getting there and there are no more nasty bugs like in launch day. But hey, I guess is normal this days.
My score is based on the point that it`s the most detailed car mechanic simulator until now. You will be able to fix huge amount of cars, but cars with licensed exterior it`s only able to get through DLS. There is huge variety of engines; you will have engine swap options at some car models. There some amount of tuning parts. However the suspension looks the same at huge variety of cars (it`s unrealistic). There is no possibility to test your own cars; drag track/race track looks ridiculous.

This game has done well to strike a balance between the complex matters of vehicle maintenance and making the process user friendly.
This however can also lead to some interesting situations where it is required that you remove a certain part before another part which would not be necessary in real life. For example if you wanted to remove the crankshaft you are required to fully remove all of the pistons from the motor even when it is upside down on an engine stand with the engine head in place.
Now with the depth of different vehicles available it makes sense that some corners would necessarily be cut. All in all this is a good game for an aspiring mechanic or kid to play around with and learn some concepts about vehicle maintenance.
This game is nice from the technical point (not at graphics or performance, though they aren't bad, but I mean the car's engines simulation, details and labor put into them), but almost trash from gameplay point, it's plainly boring, grinding and repetitive, like a worst android casual games.
*The XP system is totally broken. There's no sense in opening a garage expansion by leveling instead of good 'ol buying in the first place, but also the way you earn XP is broken, like, you get about 100 and some small bonus wherever you had to dig through the entire engine bay or just change the oil, in the first case you'd get about 150-200 xp and in the second - ~110 xp, so there's absolutely no point in taking a hard tasks, just take the easiest ones again, and again, and again.
* Car customization is pointlessly limited, you can't change engines, tuning is mostly formal and poorly developed.
* UI is just evil. You have to go to inventory, memorize a thing you need to buy, then go to store, buy it, then repeat it again for other thing (because, usually, it's really hard to remember two or more things, especially when it's a part with some parameter (like tires), or an engine's specific part, so you have to remember it's full name, and most parts are engine's specific). And this process usually takes about 2/3 of gameplay. This easily could have been simplified by developers, but looks like they're trying hard to stretch out play time by such means and that's not the thing a good game should ever do.
I can't resist from comparing this game to "My Summer Perkele" (name's changed, so it wouldn't look like some kind of advertisement), which has much fewer details on engine and takes waaaaay more time to assemble the car, but it's not boring nor repetitive at all (except a servicing your car again and again each time you returned from city, because parts wear rate is ridiculously high).
i was waiting for this game long time this game is cool rly good graphics and everything but optimization is just so bad. i don't recommend this game unless you have GTX 980+ and other preferred parts
SummaryBuild and expand your repair service empire in this incredibly detailed and highly realistic simulation game, where attention to car detail is astonishing. Find classic, unique cars in the new Barn Find module and Junkyard module. You can even add your self-made car in the Car Editor.
