With the same principles as the previous games in place, not fixing what isn’t broken, Blood Money adds some interesting new features to make the tension even higher and the missions all that much more complicated.
Trigger-happy players and those who prefer stealth will both be able to enjoy this game, though those opting for stealth will get a lot more enjoyment in the long run.
Not only is this the best Hitman game in the series, it's one of the best games ever created. (And i've been gaming since gaming began) This is in my top 3 games of all time, it's a masterpiece.
This is my favourite Hitman game, and I will go as far to say it is the greatest assassin game of all time. It is perfect on so many levels: graphics, story, development, AI, atmosphere, etc. I can not find one thing wrong with this game, hence the score. I absolutely loved the story that played through, the controls were the best of all the Hitman games, the gameplay is smooth and the AIs just make everything much more realistic. As with all Hitman games there is a dark turn on most things, but this game gets the balance absolutely right, and it is all made better thanks to the excellent voice actors, score and graphics. Personally, this is the second greatest video game ever made, and nobody will make me think otherwise. Kudos to IO Interactive, Kudos.
The gameplay gives you plenty of choices regarding progressing through a stage, and it looks good while you do so. It would've been very easy to churn out another boring murderfest, but instead we get a thinking man's game. Good showing.
Though all the elements are familiar, IO has polished them up and the end result is like a favorite dish: You know what it tastes like, but you're still looking forward to eating it.
A solid 7. The gameplay is brilliant, and the densely packed areas provide you with a wonderfully immersive playground for you to exploit. While the game is tooth pulling standards hard, so much so that you will start to get angry, it provides hardcore gamers with a great challenge. The game is a bit buggy, but nothing that is game-breaking. Aside from that, the game gives you a feeling of being an assassin, as you sneak through. I can sincerely recommend this game to any fan of the stealth genre.
Displaying the usual blend of stealth, strategy and third person shoot 'em up, Blood Money contains all of the ingredients of the previous Hitman games, but the semi-sandbox format relies too much on trial and error and the graphics are showing their age. A decent but not essential addition to the series.
Bought this game because the concept was appealing. Sneaking around on missions to perform hits on people. But I found the game controls to be difficult to maneuver and not enough tutorial on how to perform certain functions. I finally made it thru the first mission but only after having to go online and look up how to perform certain actions.
A fantastic concept wrapped in a thick layer of incompetence.. The level of mediocrity in display here is matched only by how frustrating the game actually is. I would literally be ashamed to have my name part of the credits. I wouldn't care that much normally, but the game has so much potential that it truly feels it deserved better; Starting with proper programmers. What a waste.
SummaryWhen assassins from Agent 47's contract agency, The ICA, are systematically eliminated in a series of hits, it seems a larger, more powerful agency has entered the fray. For Agent 47 it's business as usual, until suddenly he loses contact with The ICA. Sensing that he may be the next target, he travels to America, where he prepares to ma...
