Thanks to Microsoft Flight Simulator, everybody can now get a taste of the excitement that comes with being a pilot. The game is so remarkably good at this that you don’t even need to use your imagination. Your dreams will come true on the screen.

The miracle of flight is something to savour, no matter your seat. Microsoft Flight Simulator not only captures that feeling, it manages to put the entire world in your hands.

The latest version of Microsoft's Flight Simulator series is without a doubt the finest work by Asobo Studios yet, one that took full advantage of Microsoft's mapping technology to create one of the best games ever. Flight Simulator 2020 takes a huge leap forward in terms of visual technologies and sets a whole new standard for the Simulation genre, and things get even more exciting after Asobo announced that the 2020 version is going to be a huge 10-year project and the game that we have our hands on right now is just the beginning.

If you are an experienced pilot and already have X-Plane with premium paid content, you won't upgrade to Microsoft Flight Simulator. Well, not right away. Because if we can find problems with Asobo's baby, none of them is insolvable and will undoubtedly see improvements to strive even more towards perfection. As it stands, Flight Simulator is already a benchmark platform that will undoubtedly establish itself as the civil flight simulation of the decade. Checkmate.

A visionary, landmark release that's built with the long haul in mind. It will take a while for PC hardware to catch up with the game's potential, but despite some early technical turbulence the experience remains dazzling.

Hardcore simmers will love it, and for more casual players it is still undeniably fun.

When all is said and done, Microsoft Flight Simulator in its current state reminds me a lot of Sea of Thieves shortly after launch. The game has a lot of promise and a lot of potential, but it is marred by a number of issues that keep it from really shining. Once the issues have been worked out in six months or a year from now, I fully expect Microsoft Flight Simulator to be a must-have title. Right now, unless you are a hardcore flight sim fanatic, I would pass on buying the premium version and just stick to playing the basic version that's included with GamePass.

The download process was a little trying but straight forward for anyone with more than 5 brain cells.

I'm looking forward to spending many hours flying.

Ooh the sound and the graphics. I don't need to describe them because you have seen what is already capable off. If not, you can watch aOoh the sound and the graphics. I don't need to describe them because you have seen what is already capable off. If not, you can watch a Youtube video on 4k. If you don't have an internet speed to at least watch a video in 4k, then, the game is not going to work very well on your end. You can't even imagine what's going on backstage to make this work. This something that you cannot treat as a "game" per se. People is crying because there´s a new limit to your "high end GPU's" and it's very elitist. IT'S A SIMULATOR. S I M U L A T O R. Repeat with me people from Sony: SIMULATOR. It has an AI to assist you without doing the hard stuff and that makes it kind of Arcade. There's people just giving 0 because their internet connection is slow or their "PC's" are toasters. This is the new Crysis, a benchmark. Search what is a benchmark if you don't know. You're going to need a 1660 TI at least to make it in low settings and a smooth experience. I didn't have any issues installing the 91 GB with 60 MBps internet connection. People giving 0's thinking this is a "football" game and they are taking "revenge" of something. Don't trust any of those ratings. 100% recommended. This is going to be most likely on Series X taking on count the graphics muscle. Expand

This "Game" is revolutionary. It is a generational leap in how we utilize technology to create digital worlds.

This is the first TRUE "Next Generation" title we have had in a very, very long time. Just as KSP ignited a love for space flight and taught millions of people orbital mechanics, I suspect this game will inspire a love of flight and give millions of people who have no formal training a genuine understanding of what it is like to be a pilot.

If you have a monster pc and an amazing internet connection then I guess this "sim" isn't that bad which is sad in my opinion, and before someone thinks I have a **** pc, I want to tell you my specs which include an i7-6700k, a GTX 970 and 8GB of RAM which runs pretty much every game I get my hands on pretty damn well. Also for all the potential steam users thinking of buying this disgusting cash grab, just know that they have an "anti" refund policy which includes downloading a 500MB launcher on steam which you are supposed to download the game in, and bear in mind this download is counted as playtime which means no refund for you buddy, though there is a way to refund this garbage and it is making a support ticket with steam and explaining the situation and they will be glad to give your money back to you and if all else fails then just do a Paypal chargeback or credit card chargeback :) Expand
