  • Summary: Project Remedium is a story-driven action shooter set inside a human body devastated by illness and bad circumstances. It's a post-apocalypse of sorts, a really tiny one, but for a nanobot named Nano+, the body is a whole world. So he is hell-bent on fixing it with his guns and a unique grapnel.

Hands down the most original (in terms of setting, at least) first-person shooter of 2017. Slaughtering microbes inside a human stomach or liver is fun, but numerous bugs and repetitiveness in terms of enemies and gameplay itself made it impossible for me to thoroughly enjoy the game. I found Project Remedium’s aura to be its highlight, and gameplay its downfall. It claims to be story-driven, but there isn’t much of a story. Missions are utterly generic without much to enhance the experience in terms of skill trees or equipment. I definitely recommend Project Remedium based on its concept alone, but the gameplay itself is no better than average.

What remains is a fascinating concept in power, but lacking in realization, which really leaves us with bitterness in our mouths.
