    Radical Roach is a simple and relatively fun game. It's really challenging and requires a lot of patience due to repetitive songs and erratic mechanics, like the shield one. The animation could also use some work and, while it does have its own style, the quality of the visuals leaves much to be desired.

    However the game is certainly not perfect. Firstly there are no sound-options and you need to finish a level or just simply quite, there is no pause function. Plus, this game is HARD, very very hard and it can get annoying for some. The game is certainly harder than any other bullet storm games I have played such as Sine Mora.

    Now to the recommendation, for its full price, I would not recommend it, BUT if it is either in a sale, price drop, giveaway, gift or even given to you as a free game like I got it then I would recommend it.    … Expand

Пожалуй: о том что получил игру бесплатно или купил за копейки и о том под какими веществами игра зайдет лучше всего? Проведя все подготовительные работы и будучи укуренным в хлам - перед игроком может предстать весьма занятное зрелище с забавным сюжетом, сумасбродной (в хорошем смысле) рисовкой и безумными боссами. Но как обычно в таких проектах все положительные стороны очень быстро разлетаются об основу любой нормальной игры - об геймплей...
    Возможно внимательные игроки заметили, что разработчик у этой игры Decaying Logic, три парня, авторы другой не менее сумасшедшей игры Culling of the Cows со столь же безынтересным геймплеем.
    Ведь по сути это жутко однообразный shoot em’ up в котором за всю игру меняются только враги. Нужно пролететь из левой половины экрана в правую, уничтожая волны противников - стрельбой и двумя откатывающимися абилками, но при этом никаких подбираемых power up-ов, никакого апгрейда персонажа даже по ходу сюжета и никаких поблажек, три жизни, некоторые препятствия убивающие сразу, и даже умерев в сантиметре от финиша, начинай весь уровень заново. Сотни скролл-шутеров из 90-ых с более разнообразным геймплеем плачут горючими слезами при взгляде на монотонность местной игровой механики. Довольно быстро игра превращается в поиск безопасных "слепых зон" в которых ты можешь с наименьшими усилиями пролететь до того момента где умер в прошлый раз, ведь враг всегда ведет себя одинаково глупо.
    И вот когда "приход" отпускает, ты понимаешь что играешь только из-за маленьких артов показывающим нам развитие сюжета между уровнями, а не ради собственно самой игры, и когда ты это осознаешь, ты понимаешь, что уже не запустишь эту игру никогда    … Expand
