But it's actually better than its reputation. While not as crowd pleasing as the first two, this installment is more ambitious than its predecessors. It includes multiple endings, faster combat and cutscenes. Unfortunately, the game suffers from some familiarity and does away with Yuzo Koshiro's top-tapping music. Also, the color palette of Axel and Blaze have been changed which somewhat takes away from the "classic" feel. Still, it's a lot of fun although it doesn't surpass what came before. I would rate this with an 8.5 out of 10. Expand

Expand
