One of the best games available to me at the time on the PS2. I have countless memories of going into instant action and trying to recreate the movies or doing one of many countless galactic conquest runs. Battlefront 2 deserves its place in my top 10 games
A must have for a Star Wars fan. Offline or online, play as you want. Immersion is on annother level. Satysfaying gameplay, battle quotes that are iconic. Simply the best Battlefront game till this date.
My one complaint is that sprinting requires you to hold in the left thumbstick while pointing in the direction you need to go, which can get a little uncomfortable.
The story mode is new and refreshing offering a narrative to the events from a side of the story that we've experienced, but never on a personal level such as this and this was the most enjoyable part of the game for myself.
With up to 32 player matches, the ability to use bots, and the incredible amount of customizable options this game will be played for a long time to come.
Decidedly mediocre. Being able to play as a Jedi is definitely one of its strongest qualities, but it really doesn't make up for a really lackluster massive battlefield shooter.
This is the best star wars shooter I have every played. Even though I have only played this game offline, I can tell you right now to buy this game. It's an epic game that is by far way better than the new battlefront. It's got pretty fun game modes, as well as plenty of heroes to play as. If u have an original Xbox, as well as a star wars fan, please find this game.
The second best Star Wars game I have ever played.
The graphics looked amazing for this game and they faithfully recreated many stages from the classic original trilogy and the prequels. The music is fantastic. Everything John Williams composes is the greatest. The sound is superb.
The gameplay had a massive overhaul and fixed many of the originals problems. They added more modes to make the game fresh, they made the story mode much longer, the galactic conquest added more battles, we could play as jedi and have space battles for the first time and rules for different game modes could be changed.
The main problems that make the game suffer is that the AI was never fixed, the game is way too easy, the space battle controls ****, poor bonuses, lack of good game modes in instant action and the game gets very tedious.
Overall a great Star Wars game but could have been easily improved on.
SummaryStar Wars Battlefront II improves upon the original game's single-player experience with open-ended, mission-based objectives inspired from all six Star Wars films. The compelling storyline spans more than 12 new locations, many from Episode III, including volcanic Mustafar and the space battle above Coruscant. All-new classic movie mome...
