The comparison with Undisputed is cruel, but EA Sports UFC is still surprising. EA has shown itself to be able to create a great game, thanks to high-quality gameplay, a great graphics engine, and a brilliant online sector. If this is only the first entry in EA's take on the UFC franchise, we can expect great things from the next iterations.
Este jogo é incrível! Eu recebi e ainda não posso parar de jogar. Os gráficos são tão detalhadas para um game e é desafiador, mas divertido e terá que jogar por horas! A história é complexa e profundamente pensado. O melhor jogo que eu já joguei de forma
its a brilliant game with oustanding fighter styles and move sets. the online mode is amazing with balanced fights. charter creator is aweseme. nothing to be imporved on this next gen class game. MUST BUY!!!
While less emphasis on DLC, a practice mode, and a better explanation of the submission game would have been helpful, EA Sports UFC gets a no-contest from this reviewer.
EA brings more depth and detail to its fighting game, though a fierce amount of glitches and framedrops keep it from gaining a legendary status. The absence of any kind of historical mode doesn't help much either.
If you like EA’s first venture into the MMA world, you will probably like EA UFC. If you are a UFC fan, you will definitely like EA UFC. Heck, the roster is over 100 fighters huge, and that’s saying something. However, if you are a fighting game fan, this isn’t the game for you. If you are looking for a sports like simulation experience, this isn’t the game for you. If you aren’t looking to play with other players, this isn’t the game for you.
EA Sports UFC is form over function. It's all show, no go, a pretty fighter without the know-how to back it up in the octagon. The Ignite engine successfully delivers a game which makes casual observers double-take as they attempt to work out if they're watching the real thing or not, but anyone with the controller in their hand will know something is wrong.
This game is a great start to the franchise don't listen to all the EA haters give it a chance and make the descision your self. The game looks amazing and is a lot of fun.
this game has all the character models right. Their movement when they come into the ring to when they get checked by the ref. From there when the fight actually begins this game is a love hate relationship. the graphics are great but the fighting is not as responsive, when you press jab on control to when the movement goes. Online is a laggy mess, my record is 37-23. Alot of those fights i lost because of horrible controls and response time of it. the stamina makes no sense, i dont know how my guy gets tired ffrom being on top dominate control, not doing anything, but it happens.
As a longtime fan of MMA and amateur grappler myself, but a newcomer to the UFC games, I was reasonably excited to play this.
It has fairly decant graphics and borderline excessive customization, as well as a pretty well developed stamina system that keeps you thinking tactically like an MMA fighter. There are plenty of variations for playing style, you can stay on your feet nailing your opponent with quick jabs and body shots, wearing them down over the course of the match, or you can quickly take them to the ground, going for ground and pound or a submission.
This game is pretty fun to play, especially in local multiplayer with your opponent sitting next to you, so you can experience their enraged disposition first hand when you hit them with a sudden knockout. However, it is after all, a game about choking, kicking, punching and trying to break the limbs of one other guy, so it does, predictably get old after a while. There is only so many places a game like this can go, when there are really only two characters and a very small playing environment.
This is not a game for grinders, or hardcore gamers, but for what it is, an entertaining game loosely simulating the UFC experience and offering plenty opportunity for friendly competition, EA's UFC succeeds relatively well.
In the end the game is only really for hardcore UFC fans. Fighting game fans will get annoyed by how the game sometimes favors lucky blows over combination attacks. It isn't a bad game, hell I found myself having fun and going, "oh shieieeettt" when I got a good knockout hit. It all just wears off quick and unless you are a online bad-ass there is no point in owning this. I say a good rental is enough for anyone that is merely curious on this game I give it a 2/5. Story and replay ability are huge in my book, and the fact the online is the thing to keep people playing and it isn't a hundred percent polished, is just not OK. I leave you with a question. How many UFC fighters could Batman take on at once?
I have bought this game one week ago and I am done with it. EA SPORTS UFC is just bad game, there is nothing, but only good graphic. I'm intrested in martials arts, that was the reason that made me to buy this game.
First of all:
YOU CAN STUN other player with low kick, even if he was punching you in the face, his animation is coming back to neutral.
There is no logic in this game. At the beginning I will add that I've been traning Taekwondo.
Strikes of fighters are so slow, that I even thought about going to make some tea between any of them.
Stamina is going low so fast - I'm not professional fighter, but still can throw punches longer than them (and faster tho).
No good tutorial or any explanation how to fight. I was lucky because I've played in previous version of THQ, so I know some things.
Clinches and Submissions - just **** nothing else to add.
I think the biggest problem of this game is that it is contrived. I am sad because I could buy NBA 2k15, but now I've been stuck with this ****
