Hitman is unquestionably the finest game in the series. It might be one of the best stealth games ever made.

Season 1 delivered near flawlessly. IO Interactive has built a framework that they can keep building on for years to come here, and we can’t wait to dive back into more missions in season 2.

IO Interactive's new, episodic Hitman is a triumph. The developer knew how to revive its ailing series and did so with aplomb, crafting a robust set of core mechanics and designing superb levels around them. Reminiscent of everything Blood Money did so well, from its focus on gameplay over story to its cold, sardonic presentation and dark sense of humour, this is Hitman as it is and always should be.

Hitman: The Complete First Season is the perfect re-introduction to the third-person stealth franchise, bringing back sandbox game design and player choice to the forefront with six expertly hand-crafted missions with hundreds of opportunities and ways to approach killing targets, and a ton of side content in the form of Escalation contracts and the Sarajevo Six (effectively “What If?” scenarios and missions).

The first season offers a classic but at the same time new take on the Hitman experience. It asks for every mission to be replayed and rediscovered, and we've enjoyed it thanks to its diversity and possibilities.

With Hitman: The Complete First Season, IO Interactive has successfully managed to take the series back to its roots with style, making it a must-have for stealth fans yet to savour its delights.

Agent 47’s ultimate skill has always been patience, and the newest Hitman demands the same from the player more than ever before. Some may enjoy devoting hours to planning and pulling off the perfect hit, but the supersized levels have made 47’s latest adventure an overly drawn-out affair, above and beyond the initial episodic release schedule.

While I can get some of the anger because of the episodic style of release I fell as if this payed off as this has made for one of the best stealth games in recent memory as there is show much packed into it despite it only being the first season of this game with the big open levels and the fact that you can do it in which ever way you like makes it on of the most replayable games I have touched this generation and the presentation is very well done with episode 2 being one of the best missions I have played in a game. If you love stealth and action games you need to at least give this a chance. Expand

Hitman 2016 expands Hitman: Blood Money with an immense amount of A.I., a globetrotting assassin and numerous disguises you can put 47 in.

Best: Immense replayability; huge, complex and well-designed levels (a whole Italian town with an underground lab, harbour, church, cannons etc.); lots of player contracts; elusive targets.

Things I less liked were the absence of the sniper briefcase (but it's returning in Hitman 2!); some dialogue becomes repititive after having completed a level many times ("THAT is Silvio Caruso"; "ROCCO!"), though there is a lot of dialogue between NPC's; the limited 'impact' of several guns (some weapons don't feel powerful enough); also, the fact that that online and offline saves don't carry over could be troublesome for players without good WIFI.

I love almost everything about this game and it is the quality that all sandbox stealth-action games should strive to match. There is so much content in this game you could play for weeks just finding new and interesting ways to kill targets, playing contracts made by other people, completing escalations, doing the elusive targets, going for the highest score or just messing around and having a blast. Other than the misstep with Colorado, which felt more like an absolution mission, all of the levels are amazing, filled with endless possibilities to explore and each will keep you coming back.
The episodic nature put many people off, and I understand why, but I feel it works so amazingly well in this game I am so glad they went with it. It stops players from just rushing through each mission, only doing them once without experimenting or exploring and beating the game day 1, and instead gave us the chance to explore every inch of every map thoroughly, finding all of the hidden ways to kill the targets, or creating our own fun and unique contracts on those maps.
The assassination are some of the best assassinations in a Hitman game, they are crazy, epic, funny, goofy and the game never takes itself too seriously. It has a story, but the story wasn't much of anything, it was just there to be there, but that's not what this game was about. It was about the fun, amazing ways to complete each mission, and they mastered that.
And finally the constant throughout year 1 support besides the new maps was insane, and it was ALL FOR FREE (until the GOTY edition.) They kept adding in new escalations to work through, new feats in each mission to give us new ways to complete them, a Christmas event and the AMAZING professional mode. The support for this game was outstanding, the missions were outstanding, the assassinations were outstanding. My best Game of 2016, my favorite stealth game ever made and possibly my favorite game on the current gen consoles. Can't wait for season 2.

Apesar de um gráfico absurdo e uma fotografia sensacional, preferi o absolution. O jogo não te da muitas margens para usar armas, e tem muita arma massa no jogo... A hitória também é meio, boba... mal explicada... Basicamente contratos... Não segue muito uma linha.
Gameplay muito legal, mapa aberto com mil possibilidades. Mas se você curte jogar somente uma vez, o jogo termina muito rápido.

Unfortunately, even the best plans can go from great to **** in mere seconds, because of wonky AI or changes in routines. In one mission i set up multiple ways to kill targets, but they just refuse to drink the poison, walk the catwalk or smoke near sabotaged gaslanterns. Sometimes they see you, sometimes not. It's like someone throws dice and 1 is nothing and 6 is you got spotted. Or maybe i just suck ;) Expand
