Even when the overall challenge of living a day in Octodad’s shoes bears too much weight, the game is amusing enough to quell most of the frustration.

Octodad: Dadliest Catch is a quirky mix of physics and mini-games wrapped up into a story about an Octopus that pretends to be a man and simply wants to live a normal life with his family.

A joyful experience from start to finish, a must have title for PS4 owners.

Octodad succeeds as both a gut-busting slapstick routine and a touching treatise on what it means to be a family. It’s a little short, and it won’t turn the gaming world on its head, but at least it’s fun, replayable, heartwarming and didn’t cost 15 million dollars.

The conversion for the PlayStation 4 is not perfect, but slight technical issues (e.g. framerate) hardly take anything away from this short, but entertaining arcade snack.

It’s a real gem of an experience and for $10-$15 dollars, depending on whether or not you have a PlayStation Plus account, it’s certainly a game worth spending your time and money on.

Octodad is a unique and above all hilarious experience, mostly because of the downright weird controls. Unfortunately, these controls can make the game completely unplayable for people with less than optimal motor skills.

I was very glad I went ahead and got it as the game is hilarious!

I love the ideas the game has and some simple level designs made it feel like a perfect game, and by that I mean the true meaning of what a game is about... having fun.

It has a lot replay value, I have now completed it and I am wanting to play through it again already.

The only thing I ask is that there is a sequel and its a lot longer then this one was.
I honestly enjoyed it and there are trophies I need to go back and get, I always play through a game once and then I look at the trophies there are to unlock.

Great fun, I was never bored while playing, Please make another one!

TheHad a great laugh playing Octodad with my little brother. Hilarious game, just far too short for my liking (finished it in an afternoon). The artwork and 3D models are quite inconsistent. Octodad - great 3D model and textures but everything else is a step down in quality (if not multiple steps down for some) Full Review »
