TT Isle of Man 2 showed up at the test drive in excellent shape, invigorated by a consistent injection of content and a more full-bodied and structured career.

A fantastic simulation of Superbike road racing wrapped up with some delicious audio/visuals which perfectly encapsulates the relentless speed and terror of the Isle of Man TT. A wholesale improvement on the first game and well worth investing the time it takes to get to grips with the challenging handling.

The second installment of this unique motorcycle racing game has a better driving model, provides a fantastic feeling of speed and its open world is actually interesting. It’s dragged down, however, by the weird system of perks - and also by the fact that it’s so harsh and unforgiving.

For fans of the Isle of Man TT, however, it's a great adaptation. An exciting emulation of the iconic race, motor racing enthusiasts would be wise to pick this up if they want to experience the thrill of the TT from the comfort of their own homes. Given the growing trend of cancellations over COVID-19, at least this virtual version of the course is available.

A blisteringly quick and dangerous-feeling racing game, TT Isle of Man: Ride on the Edge 2 is a plain package and doesn’t quite nail the balance between its serious tone and arcade-style flourishes, but it packs some top-notch two-wheeled racing. If you have the reflexes, that is.

Ride on the Edge 2 is a well crafted, enjoyable and unique motorcycle racer, but KT Games needs to lower the difficulty and make it accessible to more players if they have any intentions in continuing this franchise.

TT Isle of Man: Ride on the edge 2 does not know whether to be a simulation or an arcade, becoming an enjoyable, exciting and fast racing without being as memorable as the race it is inspired by.

I played the first and loved it but I genuinely think the second is much better. I love the new physics, the way the rider moves around and more. The colour pallet is a bit blue when your playing at noon but the game looks incredible at evening or morning and the textures seem to be more sharp and higher quality. There are more tracks, riders and more. I love the career mode and in general if you like racing games I think you will love this game Expand

If you played the first then forget it!!!
    This is completely different
in way the bike handles and turns.
The braking system has been much improved and graphics slightly sharper.
We have a new free mode, we’re your free to experience driving around Ireland the uk and the Isle of Man.
A more in depth career mode. Bike customisation and just generally more to sink your teeth into.
A Worthy Sequel definitely worth the price of admission.

Nice graphics but really hard to play with a controller.

On one hand they made the handling more responsive, realistic and sensitive. On the other hand the added sensitivity and realism means that I cant possibly in my whole lifetime complete a whole Isle of Man lap without bailing... Which is something that I could do on the previous game, which had severely flawed physics... So how come?? Well I've never been to Isle of Man, nor seen the race firsthand, so basically all I've learned about this track comes from these 2 games. On the first game I took the time and learned all the sectors by heart, and by the time I could foresee the glitched spots/bumps which made the bike crash by default and avoid them for a clean consistent lap. On this outing however, this knowledge holds no value at all. This is a much more realistic seeming physics model and I just cannot figure it out. Although I can feel and see the bumps and jumps and the controller feedback is much more precise, I cannot ride the same corner the same twice. The speed, angle and the grip is seemingly completely randomized, (not talking about tire wear btw). It more seems like the developer really and REALLY hard hit the realism zone, but we don't have bike shaped controllers at home, and my little thumbstick really isn't enough to feel a real bike's applying forces all over it. The review: huge improvement in physics and a huge disappointment in gameplay. Expand

Then I bought the second game with a lot of expectations due to the good reviews and the my personal experience with the first game and its has been a big disappointment for me. The game seems to turn like an arcade where all the bikes have the same behavior, horrible rear cameras both of them because the bikes feel so smalll like a toys, the traction control is useless because either is deactivate or in the highest option the bike feel exactly the same, worst graphics and environment, worst sound of the bikes and worst feeling with the vibration of the controller than the first game, that was one the best vibration feeling I ever had in a racing game, I played both on PS4.
