This is a remastered version of the one released on the PSP, with HD quality and a beautiful screen, but the character motions are still the same, so you can't deny that it looks old-fashioned. The difficulty level is low and the required actions are simple, so the game develops quickly. Personally, I enjoy it so much that once I start playing, I tend to play for a long time. I get heartburn from playing AAA games all the time, so I need to rest my stomach with a slow food game once in a while.… Expand

    One of the best remasters ever produced, this is a remake. Each boss, each opponent, each level, and each character have a brand-new model. The resolution, performance, and MAYBE some textures are typically the only things updated in many remasters. But you could just as well call this one a remake.

    So much fun and tons of stuff to do for a game that was a psp tiltle! The updated graphics and updated combat and quality of life changes are great! If you love ff7 and want to learn more about Zack and Cloud pick this jewel up and enjoy.

    Because I missed out on Crisis Core for the PSP, I am so thankful that Square brought this game to the PS5! Crisis Core is an amazing prequel to Final Fantasy 7, my favorite video game of all time. Crisis Core focuses on Zack and has a beautiful and tragic story. I loved being able to see everything from Zack’s perspective especially when interacting with Cloud Aerith and Sephiroh. MyBecause I missed out on Crisis Core for the PSP, I am so thankful that Square brought this game to the PS5! Crisis Core is an amazing prequel to Final Fantasy 7, my favorite video game of all time. Crisis Core focuses on Zack and has a beautiful and tragic story. I loved being able to see everything from Zack’s perspective especially when interacting with Cloud Aerith and Sephiroh. My favorite chapter was definitely the one where you go to Nibelhiem because of how important those events were to Cloud, Tifa and Sephiroth. I liked how much Crisis Core Reunion looked and played like FF7 Remake. Reunion definitely felt more like a remake than a remaster.… Expand

    Really enjoyed it! Faithfully recreation and I had a great time with it. They did revamp the combat and made it a little more like FF7 remake which I am happy they did. It’s a good thing they released this too right off of FF7 remake if you haven’t played it now you see the big impact of who Zack is and the significance he has to the story of FF7 as a whole.     There was so much pleasure and activity for a game on the PSP title! Excellent improvements have been made to the aesthetics, fighting, and quality of life. Grab this gem and enjoy it if you love Final Fantasy 7 and want to understand more about Zack and Cloud.

The gameplay and story hold up well and I still love it. I hope they make a proper FF7 remaster faithful to the original like this one day. Loved it!

    Sqe(Square Enix) went out of their way to improve different elements from the old game such as the impact of the DMW and gave us an extra stance when acquiring the Buster sword. The audio as well as the visual department got the treatment of Remake series and is overall a better version of the old game.

    That's how a remaster should ne handled. It's still the same game, but much more fluid.

    The price tag may be too much for some people. It could indeed cost a bit less considering it's a game designed for a portable system.

    For me it was well worth it, not spectacular but fun enough to keep me entertained for a week or so (I went for platinum trophy). Campaign only takes much less time.

    Many of this games' problems stem directly from the original, so I can't blame the remaster.

    Gameplay is tight, characters and story are both good, voice acting is sufficient.

Nunca jugué el original yo solo tuve la PSP VITA, casi no tenía juegos y en aquel entonces no ubicaba la saga, por esta razón no se si es buen remaster o no pero por gameplays que he visto del original puedo notar que es mas un remake que un remaster, sea lo que sea graficamente hay una mejoría brutal. Es un muy buen juego para lo que es, un juego de PSP, se nota mucho por lasWOW. Nunca jugué el original yo solo tuve la PSP VITA, casi no tenía juegos y en aquel entonces no ubicaba la saga, por esta razón no se si es buen remaster o no pero por gameplays que he visto del original puedo notar que es mas un remake que un remaster, sea lo que sea graficamente hay una mejoría brutal. Es un muy buen juego para lo que es, un juego de PSP, se nota mucho por las misiones secundarias que están hechas para hacértelas en el carro o asi, me lo hubiera comprado en Switch, aun asi el combate es muy divertido. Vamos a lo importante, lo argumental, es muy buena historia llevada por un gran protagonista, Zack me encanta es muy simpático, Aeris ni hablar, Genesis y Angeal no se que pensar, no me terminan de convencer pero tampoco los considero asco de personajes, Sefirot me encanta y ahora que por fin logro escuchar su voz, el principio de la historia no esta mal pero siento que mejora cuando se empieza a conectar y dar sentido a la historia del juego original, y las ultimas horas son muy buenas, esa última escena es dura ngl, y la escena post-creditos te pone la piel chinita.     Despite being a superb remaster, especially for the PC, the game is still a 2007 PSP title. But that's what a Remaster gives you. But what's cool about this one is that it features all of the voice actors from the FF7 Remake. If you enjoy the FF7 Remake, I would definitely recommend it.

    The ending was so tragic..it was so emotional I thought I can get through it without crying because I already saw this on PSP..

    the improvements are very visible, the graphics isn't as good as remake but its up there and the combat is now fun even the DMW is now fun

    A great psp remaster, you should buy this when its on sale the price might be too high but its a fun game especially to people who played the OG before

    Brings back a lot of memories from my childhood. It was my first FF game that I played and I didn't know anything about FF7 back then.

This remaster is really good, the graphics are nice on ps5, the battle system is improved. The only downside so far is the number of side missions, they are honestly too many.… Expand

    The new combat made it 10000x better than the original crisis core where you literally can't move the camera and when the DMW is always in your face.

    All those 300 missions are so fun, i never finished all of them back then but in Reunion i got very addicted to all of those missions

    Surely the best in the franchise! Love the change of the combat style, the added story of the FF7 lore and just an excellent inhanced version on the switch!

    As a prequel to one of gaming’s most beloved classics, Crisis Core did a great job of enriching the original game’s world as an action RPG on the PSP. This remaster not only enhances the visuals but also improves on many of the original’s shortcomings. While there still are some inconveniences, altogether Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion is an exhilarating experience from start to finish.

    A beautiful looking remaster which doesn’t manage to significantly upgrade its source material in aspects other than graphics. Only faithful Final Fantasy VII fans who didn’t get to play it on the PSP will leave truly satisfied.
