CNET GamecenterA good example of an arcade boxer done right, thanks to its wealth of gameplay modes, exhaustive list of fighters, and wildly fun, over-the-top gameplay.
-
Of the two "last-gen" versions of this game out there (N64 and PSX), this is the better one. It pales in comparison to the PS2 and DC versions, however.
-
For those of us who have played the first game, Ready 2 Rumble Boxing: Round 2 wears thin quickly, as little aside from the game's character lineup has changed.
-
Technically-crippled, but inspired and amusing, dumb arcadey fun.
-
If you own more than system, such as a PlayStation 2 or a Dreamcast, I recommend those versions over this one, hands-down. The look is totally different but the gameplay is simply better on those versions.
