A genuinely creepy atmosphere ultimately can't save this mess of a game - with an uninteresting story, short length and overly simplified gameplay mechanics serving as its main detractors.
The game was very short, but the game looked beautiful and the atmosphere was scary and intriguing. Also this game is meant to be played multiple times because there are a lot of little clues and details riddled around the game that will help you understand the story more fully. Very fun game
To give some context, this game was created by a TINY studio in Arizona of just 3 (I believe) people, who were gifted the Unreal Engine to help create their game. Please take that into consideration if you buy this game. I went into this game with bottom of the barrel expectations, as one always should when playing a game from a new studio with almost no previous work. This game actually surprised me in it's tense environment and minimalist use of sound and color. Everything had a purpose and a place to evoke a response. Do I think it worked every time? No, the game was sometimes inconsistent, but after playing the game a few more times, I can see the beginnings of something really cool and unique. Hopefully, with the addition of more staff and a larger budget, Red G Studios can put a little bit more time into fleshing out the aspects that were lacking in this title. This game had issues, some of which were pretty bad but the vision that underscores it is undeniable. Best of luck guys!
Ok.. so yes it is short. A lot of people wanted it to be longer which I believe is a good thing! I have seen not many comments if any about gameplay or visual appeal. I think with that alone it deserves at least a 5-6. Keep going Redg!
I got this discounted, so I'm not as bitter as I could be.
So, it was definitely creepy, but... What the hell is going on here? There's literally no semblance of a story. No narration, no documents, no nothing except for the summary given with the game. I have zero context for what's going on here. Where am I, what am I doing, and why am I doing it?
Also, I was ready to scream, because in the one section where you actually have an enemy to evade, it's NIGH IMPOSSIBLE to pick up the key you have to get off the desk. It took me multiple tries, and I thought I was doing something wrong- only to find out that the game just wasn't letting me pick it up.
Not great.
Not only could this qualify as the worse game on ps4but also the worse in gaming history! Extremely short, I thought the game crashed! Graphics are similar too Android game and enemy's get close too you , you go strait to game over screen, no animated death sequence.. I called PlayStation get my money back but got no where's...
