    Cartoon Network Battle Crashers is so clearly aimed at young kids and the gameplay on offer here is fine for that audience but, on the whole, this is a dull brawler with little to offer. If you have no idea who Clarence is then you're probably better off looking elsewhere.

    While it has its brief moments of fun, Cartoon Network: Battle Crashers is a mediocre side-scrolling beat ‘em up that doesn’t do the genre or its license justice. While its visuals pop, the lack of plot or voice acting - along with a tepid control scheme - make the game feel more like a cheap cash-in and less like a competent gaming experience to all but the most ardent fans of the cheeky stable of Cartoon Network properties.

    Cartoon Network: Battle Crashers is fine for younger players. I still feel they're being robbed of a solid experience or even meaningful engagement with their favorite brands. I did fall into the groove a few times and found myself enjoying it, but the overall experience was a punishing chore.

    When I played this game, I was expecting at least a DECENT cartoon video game. Unfortunately, I still ended up having expectations set tooWhen I played this game, I was expecting at least a DECENT cartoon video game. Unfortunately, I still ended up having expectations set too high. Most of the combat in this game is just repeatedly spamming the attack button, and there is very low balance between playable characters. I mainly just used Mordecai or Finn/Jake just because of how much stronger they are than the rest. The music is immensely forgettable; I cannot remember a SINGLE piece from the game. The bosses are also lame. There are only like 5 or 6 NPCs out of the entire CN universe. The main campaign itself is WAY too short and involves a lot of backtracking to previous stages just to obtain that one item that's required to move on. Everything about this game screams "cheap cash grab." Seeing how much this game goes on sale on the Eshop should warn you enough. If you have young kids who are intense cartoon lovers, then MAYBE you could get this game for them. It will not keep them entertained for very long, however,… Expand
