With its fresh gameplay and a quite thought out story, Mystic Fate will take you on a brief journey through a dungeon where you'll have to resolve all kind of puzzles and combats against enemies, all while using the telekinetic powers of Aris, one of the last alchemists. However, some recurrent issues in its gameplay put a stain in the fun provided by the final product.
The combat system and its associated mechanics are woefully under-developed, and the game’s tendency to use those very same mechanics in the platforming sections only emphasise the problems. Look for your high fantasy elsewhere. Mystic Fate is far too frustrating to be truly enjoyable.
