The Fall Part 2: Unbound is the best Puzzle game ever launched in the Switch eShop so far. Bringing such a good story makes the price paid worth it. The graphics are not ugly but it is also nothing special, worth noting that it is visible the difference from portable to TV mode. The game is still divided into other genres, which avoids repetition. The gameplay has minor issues with the character's targeting system, but nothing that interferes too greatly with the gaming experience. It is highly recommended for fans of puzzles and a good story, and can entertain you for several hours.

The Fall Part 2: Unbound adds a significant amount of depth and complexity to the formula set by its predecessor and it is all the better for it. Combat has become more interesting and varied. The new characters are a welcome addition to the world. The story presents fresh ideas and feels like a worthy follow up to The Fall. The occasional awkward mechanic aside, The Fall Part 2 presents an exciting and satisfying adventure.

The Fall Part 2: Unbound brings back the point and click genre to a game with a captivating plot that features characters with distinct personalities and a series of puzzles that will make players wonder how they could not solve them before. While the control system could use some improvements, Unbound is an overall involving experience that will strike a chord with many players out there.

A great indie sci-fi title, strong enough to entice even if you haven't played the original.

As part 2 of a trilogy, The Fall 2: Unbound is not afraid to mix things up from the original. It keeps the core interface from the original while redesigning itself into something new. Come for the puzzles and stay for the emotion. I cannot wait to see how the story ends.
  6. Feb 13, 2018
The Fall Part 2: Unbound continues the story from The Fall with an interesting angle on familiar sci-fi concepts, but the game that underpins this darkly cerebral world is somewhat lacking. Both its action and adventure elements suffer from stilted controls, and the imaginatively conceived point-and-click sections don't always leave a satisfying breadcrumb trail for the player to follow. The result is a game that's as frustratingly flawed as it is thought-provoking.
  7. Dec 3, 2018
Disappointingly, The Fall Part 2: Unbound fixes none of its predecessor's issues while chipping away at its greatest strength: the narrative. It fails to follow up on the first part's themes and plot in a cohesive or gripping manner, instead meandering with new characters and concepts that accomplish far less than those introduced in the original. Taking into account that it's far longer with an inconsistent pace all around, The Fall Part 2: Unbound feels like an enormous misstep after a flawed, but worthwhile, first third of a trilogy.
