Aug 10, 2015In the end, Roving Rogue makes a bit of a splash with its interesting means of storytelling, but that’s about it. From the frustrating controls to the uninspired level design, the rest of the game falls pretty flat. It’s not necessarily awful, mind you, just uninspired and a bit frustrating.

Just a couple of actions (teletransport and jump) and lots of challenging platforming action coming straight out from thorough level design, delivered just like in the good old gaming days.
If you are into roguelikes like Rogue Legacy, old-school platformers like NES Marios, and also dig pixel-art indie games, I strongly recommend Roving Rogue.… Full Review »
