Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa is a fun platformer, definitely aimed at younger gamers and fans of the series.
-
Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa is a great example of a kid’s property done right.
-
Many of the mini-games have a multiplayer mode (accessible from the main menu), which means that up to four can play it at once provided there are enough Wii Remotes with Nunchuks attached--that's even more replay value. On the other hand, if you just thought you "might poke around and check out what people are saying about the game because it looks like it might be sort of fun," you're probably better off waiting for a price drop.
-
And while the Wii version of this title may not be the absolute best, it does a good job of conveying the fun energy of the movie that inspired it, and kids will love the fun mini-game inspired play.
-
Games Master UKNot technically brilliant, but fun kids' game packed with a quirky variety of mini challenges. [Feb 2009, p.84]
-
While most adults may have a hard time finding enjoyment, the game's character and goofy nature makes for a great experience for the younger demographic.
-
Storyless, arduous and tedious, it’s essentially a mediocre minigame collection that offers too little context for older fans and too many repetitive challenges for kids.
