I suspect this will be one of the first titles to take a price drop, so if this time of the year is really punishing your wallet, you might want to wait, but for those who never got to play GoldenEye on the N64 or even last year on the Wii, you can now finally experience a bit of gaming history, freshly wrapped in a next-gen package that is so challenging, so fun, and so addicting, you might have trouble deciding what to play when all those holiday titles start stacking up.
Goldeneye 007: Reloaded is a fantastic trip down memory lane, as well as a very solid shooter in its own right. It controls well, the Bond universe is very much alive and kicking, and the reasonably-long and entertaining campaign is engaging. Though the online multiplayer is very average, split-screen multiplayer is as fun and rage-inducing as ever. If you're a fan of the Goldeneye series, or had any involvement with the original, you should definitely pick this one up.
I loved this remake with Daniel Craig in it, although no vehicles in this game. But i loved it more for the multiplayer, hopefully the servers come back on when its all by Microsoft. Hope to do the online achievements someday
Much of what it made it great hasn't changed, but the minor extras and improved visuals come at the price of online frustration and gunplay that's undeniably dumbed-down.
Overall, I was actually pleasantly surprised by GoldenEye: Reloaded. There are enough nods to the source material to keep the game from being a complete derailment of the franchise, and while the multiplayer will never measure up to the original, it still has its English charms.
The old school game design along with the empty servers that cripple the online experience, make the latest addition to the Bond franchise one of the weakest we've ever seen.
Wow! Great game. A personal Bond favorate of mine. The story's great! I watch Bond all the time! The voice is by Dainel Craig. My second favorate Bond actor. Everything is great! Also fun starting tutorial at beginning. Unlike most games it's not impossible. You may die a few times every level but it's GREAT. It takes about 2in a half months if you just play about 2 levels each week. Lots of twist features. Great pictureing and language is just mild. I say for People 11+. I personally LOVED this game. Better than Minecraft! Awesome multiplayer. I've played other Bond games but I would have to rate this gam 9.7 out of 10. Only because different voices for enemy's. It's worth the money all the way!
In my opinion, Goldeneye 007: Reloaded is the best James Bond game on the Xbox 360! The gameplay is awesome and sound is pretty great. Only problem I had with this is I wish they added more spy missions, it feels like Call Of Duty at some times. Overall, I think this is a great James Bond game for any Bond fans
I love the multiplayer mode Escalation. It's a new and incredibly unique mode in the game and I hope it continues to show up in future 007 titles. Though the multiplayer mode suffers from horrible amounts of unfairness as the developers decided to do the most stupid of all things such as give abilities to the villains like more body armor which makes certain characters invincible to the golden gun. I've seen a character get hit with a bullet from the golden gun, which is supposed to be an instant kill, run towards as if they didn't get hit. The multiplayer characters are far too unbalanced.
Yet another "Bond" adventure from Eurocom, the same idiots that brought you Beijing 2008 and other terrible "games", It's an absolute CoD clone, which claims to be the next big game, just because you have "Goldeneye 007" slapped on the cover, doesn't mean it's going to sell out every time it's placed on the shelves of every store imaginable. It's also has a broken stealth feature, which doesn't act realistically, and Bond was all about the stealth
As someone who is a huge fan of the original Goldeneye 007 for the Nintendo 64, I was extremely disappointed at this adaption made by Activision. To be perfectly honest, I would of thought it to be appropriate to have a shot-for-shot high definition remake of the original, which it isn't. The campaign gets bland after the second mission, once you realized the same gameplay is rebooted into different scenarios each mission. The gameplay, though, is playable, which is a positive, though you'd really check this game out to get the nostalgia factor, and not for a Call of Duty competitor that will outdo it, even though Activision is also a developer for the Call of Duty series, coincidentally. Then comes the multiplayer, which is one of the few bright spots of the game, although I feel like it isn't enough to keep you wanting to play it. Give the multiplayer a try, and i'm sure you'll be pleasantly surprised at how fun it is. Then there is the Mi6 Ops, which is basically an objective based game mode where you can use powers from the original game (Painball, DK Mode, etc.). Although this sounds good, it just comes off as bland and repetitive. I wouldn't suggest buying this game under any circumstance like I did, but simply renting it and seeing if you get any nostalgia, although you most likely will not.
