For $10, you can get some decent fun out of it, even if you don't have a rod controller. If you're looking for a fun arcade experience or if you want to relive your old Dreamcast days, Sega Bass Fishing still offers up a pretty fun time even for non-fishing fans.

This is a mindless game really. Catching virtual fish, trying to beat a game clock, and working out the right lure to fool the fickle fish. But - and this is a qualified but - it is still strangely entertaining.

Just feels like it's missing something fairly vital and simply doesn't have a lot of depth. [Issue#79, p.101]

If you're hardcore about your angling, Sega Bass Fishing may whet your appetite, but for everyone else, turn your motorboat around and avoid this game.

SEGA Bass Fishing is just a copy of the original game. That's quite unfortunate, because this title could have been decent if SEGA took the time to put some more work into it. If you're a die hard fisherman, you may have fun with SEGA Bass Fishing. If not, it's best you leave this game at the bottom of the ocean, right where it belongs.

It’s tricky, and there are some glitches you can’t avoid. However, after recently picking this game back up, it’s not as bad as I thought it to be. It’s enjoyable, especially if you need to kill the time. Expand
