OliverHSep 12, 2009I have just recently purchased this game and would like to say if you can pick it up cheap buy it and you wont be disapointed. It has its flaws (cover system shamelessly stolen from GoW) but it also has its good points (bullet curving) all in all its a fun game but it is way too short :(
RowanFMar 24, 2009This game is hard to judge - It's a competent 3rd person shooter with game mechanics which differ from the bog standard shoot 'em up, therefore there isnt anything inherently wrong with it, however i cant escape the feeling that its all been done before. I'll put that into simpler terms: Am I the only one who thinks that this is Max Payne under a different heading? This game is hard to judge - It's a competent 3rd person shooter with game mechanics which differ from the bog standard shoot 'em up, therefore there isnt anything inherently wrong with it, however i cant escape the feeling that its all been done before. I'll put that into simpler terms: Am I the only one who thinks that this is Max Payne under a different heading? It's got bullet time, the same style of graphics, the same weapons, the same style of environments, the same bullet-sponge enemies, the same gloomy monologues. It just feels, in absolutely every single way, as if your playing max Payne on a 360. The only original part of this game is the ability to 'curve' bullets, which isn't exactly amazing. My only other beef wih it is that it's short and there's no multiplayer. To be honest, if you buy this then you'll be getting a fairly good game - just one that's been done before. To the letter.… Expand
Jun 15, 2020Really fun budget game it was so good that I decided to play it again on the hardest difficulty and I still enjoys it . If you like this era of gaming 360 and PlayStation 3 Then give it a shot
Mar 29, 2021The game iş very short and repetitive, but it is very enjoyable to play....
Awards & Rankings
The good news is that the game, as dull as it gets, doesn't last for more than five hours. It's quick and dirty. [Apr 2009, p.77]
Some complaints would be the length (mainly because we had such a good time we wanted more), lack of features/replayability, and we would have loved a larger arsenal of weapons/locations. All in all Wanted: Weapons of Fate will do exactly what it is meant to do for adult gamers who pick it up in stores this week, provide a over-the-too fun experience with many ties (both gameplay and story-wise) to the Wanted universe.
Grim, nonsensical, and yet oddly satisfying. If you’re in the mood for a short, sweet, guilty pleasure, Wanted: Weapons Of Fate has what you need.
