Paradise Lost on Xbox has surprised from start to finish. It tells a good and moving story, and deals with an alternative chilling history with some brilliant visuals and well-written narrative. It's not a challenging game at all but rather a narrative exploration that takes you on quite a linear path.

Taken as a whole, PolyAmorous doesn’t get everything right with Paradise Lost, with some maddening technical issues too often dragging me out of potentially powerful or touching moments, but there are enough terrific little touches here that – when combined with a compelling narrative, haunting sound design and some interesting background storytelling – serve to make it worth a playthrough. Just be prepared to do a bit of squinting.

Paradise Lost is a classic walking simulator and this represents the cross and delight of the entire production. Letting yourself be carried away by the ashen environments, definitely inspired in their majestic decadence, means living a very suggestive and exciting story. On the other hand, its didactic nature and the total lack of playful elements could make anyone looking for a more classic and varied experience turn up their nose. The interest that Paradise Lost instills in players more inclined to narrative involvement goes beyond the game itself and could push the most curious to get interested in the real "Giant Project" or in the similarities with the homonymous poem by John Milton. This does not detract from the fact that the game has a level of graphic cleanliness largely to be reviewed and a structure locked inside a giant corridor. It's up to you to decide whether to immerse yourself in this chilling aquarium, or look for a less passive gaming experience.

Paradise Lost manages to keep the intrigue high with its alternate history tale and great environmental story-telling, but is let down by it glacier-esque pace. If you can push through that though, there is an entertaining time to be had here.

Paradise Lost takes us an abandoned yet magnificent bunker. With underground palaces, shopping streets and lush gardens, there is no shortage of memorable places to discover. Unfortunately, the storytelling is lacking, and it takes a while before the story gets somewhat interesting. All in all, Paradise Lost is a bland experience that is further hampered by some technical problems, but thanks to the beautiful environments together with a relatively low price, the bunker is still worth visiting for fans of the genre.

Games was development by PolyAmorous studios. The game tells the story of a young man of just twelve years old, who finds himself in spite of himself in a post-apocalyptic Poland torn apart by the Second World War and trying to survive in every way. The boy will soon run into a bunker belonging to the Nazis, inside which he will discover some really surprising secrets. The underground world that you are going to explore will combine elements of science fiction with others typical of Slavic culture, including the fact that some decisions we make inside the bunker will influence what we will experience during our adventure. Details about the game and the general setting of Paradise Lost I don’t want to spoil here for those interested in this low priced and value packed game. Paradise Lost is a treat for those who are intrigued by its setting and story. With strong gameplay and story elements you will undoubtedly enjoy Lost Paradise if this is your type of story. Plenty of secrets to uncover and story to expand, so head on over to your Xbox digital games store and give it a chance. You will not regret it despite some technical issues, it’s powerful moments override them and in the end it’s a solid affair. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Single (slow) paced walkathon, barely any puzzle elements at all and what there are are simple go to point A to find out you need something in point B to get open point A.
The story imo isn't very engaging at all, barely if any interaction with anyone else and you felt that it was four hours or so of my life I cannot get back.
Even the collectables are dull making you eventually not bother interacting with anything just to get the slow slow paced story going, just aimlessly get from point A to B without any sense of adventure or discovery as so linear.
There are a few different endings which if you wish to see them you need to save before the credits so you can go back in and redo them as the laughable thing here is if you let the credits roll you cannot go back you have to start over!!
There are many clunky graphical moments too with one particular scene where you have to jump in water on my series x I had to look down as the flashing blocks were so annoying (they are not meant to be there)
In a word summing this game up (unless you have a desperate interest in the genre or era) uttter crap
