The main reason that Jawan doesn’t deliver more than what Khan’s previously delivered is because its creators seemingly included every masala-style sub-plot that they could think of.

This is a massy masala movie done right. With epic fight sequences and character entrances, and a twisting plot that unravels. Shah Rukh Khan is amazing here in the roles of Vikram and Azad Rathore, and the supporting cast are great as well. It knows how to balance the mass with the substance and, in doing so, creates one of the best films I've ever seen.

A star vehicle that functions like a runaway train, Jawan covers a lot of ground in surprising fashion at full throttle – but that’s also a polite way of admitting it’s utterly all over the place.
An absolute blast at the theatre. Although derivative of the director's previous works, Jawan never once fails to be entertaining. With gorgeous action and the right dose of style and glamour, this film knows when and when not to take itself seriously.

My rating 6.5.
The action editing in some major action sequence wasn't good and can be annoying sometimes but most actions gave goosebumps and were fun. The story was really interesting and emotional and the film reminded me of Robinhood which is about fighting injustice within society and righting the wrongs done by society. There were emotional and tough moments to watch like the farmer's suicide, doctor's story etc. However some moments meant to be emotional were very similar to the director's previous movies like Mersal, Theri and Bigil thus not really emotional at those times. However story was good and the performances of all the cast was great and engaging. There were funny and comedy moments where I enjoyed and some action scenes were good like the intro scene, train hijack, the car chase and the ending action was good. The villain in the movie was presented well and was good. The film had good songs and good BGM although the BGM in some parts of the movie was repetitive and irritating at times.
SRK's performance, swag and charisma was outstanding and overall I enjoyed this movie.

It's a treat to see SRK's versatility on screen . He is just amazing. The makers can make the story even more realistic but overall it'sa wonderful experience.
