Very long and boring, this political thriller that was marketed as an action movie has fallen flat with stale story-telling and forgettable characters. Jackie Chan was advertised as the main character in this film but has only received short screen time with his performance. At max he had all the action sequences but has little to no dialogue which included "Give me the names!" or "You will tell me the names." I was deceived and I want my money back haha.… Expand

How it escapes people that every person of colour in the movie is a good guy and virtually every white person a bad guy is beyond me. Pretty much the inverse of modern terrorism in Europe. Jackie Chan can't save "The Foreigner" from being a mess. The action is big but soulless, the plot stupid, and the political espionage angle is scattershot.
