Chad Kroeger

Biography: The Dynamic frontman of grunge-revivalist Nickelback since its inception, Chad Kroeger is the person most associated with the group. Kroeger was born in 1974, growing up idolizing guitar bands and dreaming of starting his own. Started in Hanna, Albert, Nickelback moved to Vancouver and began to make a name for themselves with releases that hit big in Canada. Breaking into the American rock scene around the turn of the century, the band had a huge hit with "How you Remind Me," making Kroeger a recognizable figure in the Alternative Rock World. In 2002, Chad did a duet with Saliva singer Joesy Scott, called "Hero," which appeared in the first Spider Man movie.
