Lance Hoyt

Biography: He is a former heavyweight champion of GZW, PCW and STEW. He is also a 2 time tag champ with Kid Kash in TNA as Dallas. His pro debut was in July of 2000. He also debuted in TNA in March 2004.

Growing up Lance Hoyt wanted to become a marine biologist. In high school he began playing football as a quarterback. He attended Howard Payne University before transferring to Southwest Texas State University and graduated with a degree in English. He than began break dancing at a bar called The Voodoo Room in Austin, Texas. Hoyt began wrestling training in 2000 under Solo Fiatala and made his debut in that July. The next four years he spent working on the Texas independent circuit under the stage names Lance Steel, and Breakdown. Hoyt joined the Arlington based Professional Championship Wrestling in 2001 as Shadow a character based on the wrestler Sting’s “Crow” persona. In March 2004 he was hired by TNA Wrestling and immediately teamed up with Kid Kash as Kash’s bodyguard, tag team partner, and relative called Dallas. In April he and Kash participated in a tournament for the vacant NWA World Tag Team Championships, and went on to the finals defeating Low-Ki and Christopher Daniels to win the titles. The following week they lost the belts to D’Lo Brown and Apollo and the week following that they regained the titles by defeating the same team they had lost the belts to the previous week.
