Peter Michael Goetz

Biography: Peter Michael Goetz was born on December 10, 1941, in Buffalo, New York. He studied at the State University of New York at Fredonia, Southern Illinois University Carbondale, and the University of Minnesota. He has been a member of Guthrie Theater Acting Company in Minneapolis for over forty years. During this period, he has appeared in numerous productions, including An Enemy of the People, Arsenic and Old Lace, Waiting for Godot, A Midsummer Night's Dream, All My Sons, A Moon for the Misbegotten, and The National Health. In 1981, he appeared in his Broadway debut as John Barrymore in Ned and Jack, a play directed by Colleen Dewhurst. Some of his off-Broadway appearances include The Jail Diary of Albie Sachs and Alan Ayckbourn's Comic Potential. He has also appeared in several films such as Prince of the City, The World According to Garp, Jumpin' Jack Flash, King Kong Lives, and Wolfen.
