Although it doesn't take full advantage of what the 3DS is capable of, Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn is a must-have portable version of a top-notch Wii game complete with plenty of impressive extra content that complements an already great 2D platformer.

The Occupation is a classic example of a concept with great promise but poor execution. The massive amount of bugs that hamper progress and the lack of a proper stealth system constantly get in the way of being able to enjoy this admittedly unique experience.

I don't care what anyone else says, The Lego Movie 2 Videogame is a ton of fun. With a spot-on blend of familiar Lego gameplay, open-world environments, and an assortment of awesome gadgets; what's not to love?

Assault Android Cactus was an incredible game when it released a few years ago and it's just as great now with a few extras, too.

It may not be the most original or rewarding game out there but Treasure Stack is certainly a solid and fun competitive puzzler.

I'm sure the developers of Crimson Keep had a clear vision of a fun dungeon crawler in mind but what they actually made is one of the worst games that I've played in a long time. Here's hoping they go back to the drawing board before working on their next game.

Even though there is a lot of content in Braveland Trilogy, it's still a very simplistic take on SRPGs that doesn't offer anything new.

The Serpent's Heart DLC contains the most interesting and challenging puzzles yet and it will get your heart racing. The story is nicely intertwined with the gameplay, too. If only the fun could have lasted a bit longer...

Devil May Cry 5 features incredible action-intense gameplay as well as gorgeous visuals, engaging cutscenes, and phenomenal audio. If it included a little more variety then it would easily be the best in the series.

Kart racer enthusiasts and cat fanciers alike owe it to themselves to pick up a copy of Meow Motors. It's an exhilarating and fun game even if it doesn't tick all the boxes of a typical AAA racing game.

As a revival of a very special Sega Genesis classic, ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove will certainly give fans the funky good times that they crave. However, those devoid of funk likely won't be up for the down stroke.

Overall, Fimbul is a mess. I wanted to like it due to its use of Norse mythology as it truly felt like a journey to Jotunheim, not just an action game with some Norse stuff thrown in but with combat that never felt satisfying, an annoying uncontrollable camera, a handful of glitches, and gameplay that I definitely don't want to dive back into, it's a hard game to recommend to anyone.

Although I prefer Beyond the Myth by a slight margin, Etrian Odyssey Nexus offers a familiar and rewarding dungeon crawling adventure that retro RPG fans will surely appreciate. Now that the series is done on 3DS, here's hoping we can play the next one on Switch.
