This is like the spiritual successor of the Key & Peele show -- *very* funny. It's equal parts smart and absurd. The characterizations are excellent with show creator Robin Thede stealing almost every scene she's in; she's incredibly versatile and always funny. I was really excited about this show. I will say that it's really well made and I really wanted to like it...it just really is not funny.
