Six weeks after being released from prison, Miri is staying out of trouble with both a new job and a date with neighbor Billy - until a surprise visitor arrives in town to put her optimistic outlook to the test. Season premiere.

Difficulties mount for Miri when the lack of a bank account prevents her from starting her new job. An awkward not-date-date with Billy lead her to make a startling discovery.

Miri develops an interesting theory after being struck by a car. While the town prepares for Lara's vigil, Miri is unwittingly taken to meet Billy's family for the first time and uses the opportunity to reinvent herself.
