Description: A televised exercise in applied destructive engineering in which competitors must construct fighting robots out of materials found from a junk-pile. After constructing their robots, the builders must send them into battle against each other to see who has created the superior war machine. It started in San Fransico, then went to Las Vegas for a while, then finally returning to an old army bunker in San Fransico, where the last tapings were held.
