The Daniel Boone series is a classic TV series for everyone to enjoy, here's why: First is the surplus of humor, clever remarks and over all great scripting. Second is the fitting setting, props, and costumes. And finally, the completely original story lines.
The surplus of classicThe Daniel Boone series is a classic TV series for everyone to enjoy, here's why: First is the surplus of humor, clever remarks and over all great scripting. Second is the fitting setting, props, and costumes. And finally, the completely original story lines.
The surplus of classic scripting can be seen throughout the series. The conversations are riddled with witty humor, clever remarks and perfect diolects. At first glance, you may overlook a little accent or a slight idiolect but they really do help to accentuate the southern frontiersman feel of the series. This is also accentuated with the use of wit, showing the character of the main character: Daniel Boone. the fitting setting can be seen throughout the series. Despite the series being filmed in California and Utah rather than Kentucky, where the actual story takes place, they still manage to recreate the forests and fields of Kentucky quite well. This is accompanied by the fantastic recreation of the historical town of Boonesborough; the log cabins, the fort walls and the overall construction is amazingly put together. But what would a great setting be without fitting costuming to go with it? Daniel boone has great costume design as well as great props coonskin caps and rawhide boots are even mentioned in the theme song, the attire of each of the actors is well put together and fitting and overall goes to improving the quality of the shows as a whole.
Speaking of the shows as a whole, there wouldn't be shows in the first place without storyline, or storylines, you see, this show doesn't follow one exact storyline but instead jumps around with each episode. With 160 or more episode is quite exciting to see what situation Daniel Boone will find himself in with each episode, with so many episodes, however, it can be hard to avoid repetition, but this series does so wonderfully, each episode is unique, well thought out, and completely original.
