Happy Endings, cast and all, has now officially jelled. The show exists on the same cosmic (and comic) TV plain as "Scrubs," "Arrested Development" and that other late bloomer, "Cougar Town."
Easily one of the best comedies on TV right now, it would truly be a shame if this is its last season. Brad and Jane have a ridiculously cute and hilarious chemistry and Max makes me laugh every time he's on the screen. Elisha Cuthbert can be the weak link at times, but also provides great ditzy laughs as well. Highly recommended to anyone who likes the offbeat humor of shows like 30 Rock and It's Always Sunny...
The season that made you sad that Happy Endings was cancelled. This show grew into probably one of the funniest sitcoms on TV. Normally shows start strong and end weak, but its funny how this gem did it in reverse.
For me this was Happy Endings strongest season with enough genuinely funny scenes to allow the slightly unoriginal character relationships and jokes that don't quite work to be overlooked. It may never have reached the heights of the very best sit-coms but I for one am disappointed to see it cancelled after just 3 seasons.
This show feels too much like their copying off Friends. 6 friends living in Chicago (New York in Friends). 3 boys and 3 girls (same in friends). And 2 of the Charecters have an on and off relationship going on (Ross and Rache in friendsl) . 2 of them are siblings (ross and monica on friends). The only thing different than friends is that they got a black and a **** guy. But I got to admit it can be funny but only the occasional chuckle. I've seen multiple episodes of every season so that is why I'm posting this review in the other seasons.
