This is mildy amusing, not quite nail-biting stuff. There are a handful of close calls that add drama, but mainly Hunted operates at the low hum of network reality television.
Hunted’s premiere wasn’t very suspenseful--it was like an episode of Undercover Boss if the bosses had to keep moving all the time. The voiceover narration is a problem: While it’s a necessary element of the show, needed to introduce the huge cast of “characters” and orient a viewer in the geography of the fugitives, it also lends a cheesy, basic-cable-reality-crime-show air to the proceedings.
Was extremely excited to watch this show. I would play in a heart beat, but the show itself was just painful to watch to the point that I would be mad. Show is so one sided for the Hunters to win. I mean **** what real world is a fugitive's location given away for using a ATM where they can only get $100 out. SO stupid and cost like 4 teams a chance at winning. AND the last episode where the fugitives had to go through a wild goose chase to get the money just to try to make it more exciting....didnt work and probably just made all the little viewers this show even more angry that the Hunters were given even more help. Most likely not going to be brought back for another season, but if it somehow does, they better fix the flaws they have.
And as a side note.... Can we all agree on why is there a show on national television explaining to people how and what they need to do to avoid being caught by the law.... What kind of message is this show trying to have haha. Oh well...Maybe next time CBS
This is the worst show I have ever watched. The trackers have access to everything including what color underwear you have on and the hunted have nothing. Too one sided for anyone to be able to win. Won't watch this show again. I hope it's cancelled. Terrible. I wouldn't even give it one star.
This show is mind numbing, Rules limit the hunted, the cast is blah couldn't watch more than 30 minutes. CBS please cancel this crap. CBS you could do better with reruns of Elementary or Persons of Interest,
This is by far the dumbest "reality" show I have ever seen. It's actually hard not to deliver "spoilers," as anything one can say about this show would spoil anyone's interest in watching it. Full disclosure: 45 years ago I actually did have to "hunt" people in distant climes. Today, as a producer/director I was appalled at the exceedingly high cliche/minute mind-numbingly stupid scriptwriting; the wooden performances (no, that description dishonors trees); the cheezy camera work; the skanky "protagonists," (suffice it to say you HOPE these morons will be caught!); The "Hunters," most of whom would not succeed in acquiring a date at the Perkins School for the Blind. That is so unfair to folks who are sight impaired. It's really more that the Hunters have no discernible personalities beyond cardboard and stereotyping. Imagine you took the least appealing character from every procedural currently running and put them all into one show. There you go!
